In this essay, I will write about good and bad things between country and city living in Thailand.
There are many good things about living in the country. First, there is fresh air and no
pollution. When I was a child at my home town most people walked or rode bicycles. Second, it is peaceful and relaxing with no competition about anything. Third, people are friendly; everybody in the country know each other and are helpful. Fourth, there is no spending for food because people usually have their own farm with animals and vegetables or catch fish from the river. However, there are also some bad things. First, transportation is not good. It‘s not convenient to go anywhere. Also, there are not many schools; sometimes children have to walk very far to school. Moreover hospitals are too far and there are only small clinics in towns. Finally, there are no shopping malls, restaurants or cinemas. Some villages even haven’t got water or electricity.
There are some good things about living in the city. First, there are a lot of opportunities. Second, you can go anywhere with good transportation. Third, there are so many good schools for children. Fourth, when you get sick, the hospitals are everywhere. But there are also some bad things. First, things are so expensive.
Also, people are not friendly and they are so competitive when working, studying or even when you want to get on the bus you have to fight for that. In additional, pollution is very bad, can you imagine many people stuck on the bus for an hour in the middle of the road with the air pollution and noise pollution.
In the future, I would like to live in the country somewhere near the sea. My dream house would be a small wooden house with big garden up on the mountain.
